Installation Instructions

You will need the following supplies to install FlatOut Tire Sealant:

  • FlatOut Tire Sealant
  • The bag from inside the carton you bought containing tools and instructions.
  • Air Supply (it is necessary to deflate and re-inflate your tires)
  • Scissors or knife to cut the Yorker spout tip.

  1. Vehicle suspension should be in good condition. Tires should be properly balanced and aligned.

  2. Park the Vehicle so Tire Valve Stem is at 5 or 7 o'clock position.

  3. Remove the Tire Valve Stem Cap from your tire.

  4. Using the slotted end of the Valve Core Remover included in this package, unscrew the valve core from inside the valve stem thereby allowing the tire's air to escape. (You may need pliers to turn the Valve Core Remover if the Core is seated tightly.)

  5. Determine the correct amount of Sealant from this chart.

  6. Remove the flat cap that came with the bottle. Take the bottle spout from the bag inside the carton.

  7. Remove the red tip from the bottle spout and cut the spout open to approximately a 1/4 inch outside diameter. Screw spout on bottle.

  8. Attach the tube from the bag securely to the spout and push the other end of the tube well over the valve stem.

  9. Hold the bottle up and away from the tire then begin a squeeze / release / squeeze pattern to the bottle to flow the right amount of sealant into the tire. Use the sight guage on the label of the bottle to check the volume you are installing.

  10. Clear the valve stem with a burst of air, then replace the valve core and re-inflate the tire to the air pressure specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

  11. Drive the Vehicle several miles to thoroughly circulate the Sealant.

  12. Any initial vibration experienced should disappear with a few days of normal operation.
